Dallas, Texas -- March 27, 2003 -Dallas Love Field will open 1,606 more covered parking spaces in its new Parking Garage B beginning Friday, March 28. This completes the 18-month parking garage construction project that includes a four-level garage with 4,006 parking spaces, a climate-controlled 1,500-foot concourse with people mover and a public art installation. The $59 million project that was funded by a revenue bond approved by the City of Dallas in 2001, will be completed on time and under budget.

"The new spaces are covered, close, convenient, and completed," Kenneth Gwyn, Director of Aviation, Dallas Love Field, said. "We are excited and pleased to offer this upgrade in service that provides ease and convenience to Love Field travelers."

Dallas Love Field parking options now include Garage A at $10.00 per day and new Garage B at $7.00 per day to provide more than 7,000 covered parking spaces. The Economy Lot, at $5.00 per day, provides free shuttle service to the terminal building.
